In July 2026, Charlie Roper, one of our Civil Engineering Apprentices, flew out to Kenya for two weeks on a volunteering trip with The Memusi Foundation, taking part in a project that would go on to have a lasting impact on the local Maasai community.

Last Sunday, Gledhow Valley Road (just behind our head office in Leeds) closed to traffic and opened up to the local community for the Friends of Gledhow Valley Woods’ Green Fair. Over 100 stalls, hundreds of visitors, and a CML CCTV drainage van parked in the middle of it all.
