Official opening of Bishop Auckland Station Platform walkway

Safer access for passengers at Bishop Auckland Station

On Monday 3rd April, CML attended the official opening of the walkway we recently constructed on behalf of our client, Network Rail. The new path at Bishop Auckland station makes it easier and safer for passengers to access Weardale Railway services whether arriving on a Bishop Line train from Darlington or using Bishop Auckland as a terminus.

The event was attended by His Majesty’s Lord-Lieutenant of County Durham, Mrs Sue Snowdon: Peter, Lord Hendy of Richmond Hill, Chair of Network Rail; Jonathan Ruffer, Founder of The Auckland Project.

Richard Long, Lee Harrison, Aaron Blakemore and Martin Olsen attended on CML’s behalf to see them cut the ribbon!
