It was a pleasure to have Ben Brooks, Portfolio Delivery Director, Network Rail visit our site at York Station Roof recently. Jake Ford, our CML Project Manager, is pictured here briefing Ben on the scope of works and challenges we face working in and around a busy station environment.
A roof of this scale would always present challenges with emerging scope, which was to renew sections, including the waterproofing and the replacement of broken glass. Working in collaboration with Capital Delivery, MHB Consultants Ltd and our supply chain partners, we have collectively and proactively mitigated the impact through applying value engineering to maintain provision of minimum viable product.
The project is progressing to plan with our people, efficiently and effectively, delivering high quality work safely.
