CML Team Supports Local Community and Environmental Initiatives in Sheffield

Supporting the Community Forestry Project

Sometimes the most meaningful work happens outside the office.

Over recent months, CML team members in Sheffield have been proud to support two local initiatives that reflect our shared commitment to community, sustainability and teamwork.

In January, members of the CML team partnered with Sheffield City Council and the Community Forestry Project to plant trees at Kettlebridge Doorstep Green, Park and Garden.

Working together on site, the team helped transform an open space into a greener, more sustainable environment for the local community.

The initiative supports:

  • Increased biodiversity

  • Improved air quality

  • Enhanced green space for residents

  • Long-term environmental benefits

The day was not only about planting trees, but about contributing to a project with lasting positive impact. It provided an opportunity for colleagues to step away from their usual roles and work side by side in support of a shared purpose.

Supporting Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice

Earlier this month, the Sheffield team also took part in the collection of Christmas trees in support of Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice – marking the second consecutive year CML has supported the initiative.

The annual tree collection helps raise vital funds for the hospice, which provides care and support to children and families facing life-limiting conditions.

While very different activities, both initiatives reflect the same core values – community engagement, teamwork, and a commitment to making a positive difference beyond our day-to-day projects.

CML remains dedicated to supporting local communities and looks forward to continuing its involvement in initiatives that create meaningful, lasting impact.
