Chilly over Christmas? A warm well done to the members of our CML Wigan team who recently completed the Rescue 3 Europe Water Awareness and Safe Working in Water training during two action packed days on the icy cold River Dee. Working to improve their understanding of both the theory and practical elements in; Water Rescue Standards & Legislation, Hierarchy of Rescue Techniques, Risk Assessments & Safe Systems of Work, Swimming Techniques, Communications and Casualty & Co-Worker Management. This will prove invaluable to the planning and delivery of associated works, increasing the capacity and capability of our teams in the North West & Central Region.
