CML wins framework contracts in all six English regions and Wales
Four new depots and office facilities
Network Rail has awarded CML contracts worth up to £30 million pounds per annum in the fullness of time as part of its new Route Framework Contracts. The contracts, which were targeted by the company, have been won in strong competition in all the English regions, LNE, LNW, Anglia, Western, Wessex and the South East, with civils projects secured in Wales. This provides a major opportunity which will require up to a hundred new people to be recruited across the country, with additional office and depot facilities already secured in Dinnington, Wigan, Durham and the South West.
CML Managing Director Charles Mortimer is thrilled with the successful outcome of the tender. “Everyone involved in the tender process has worked very hard, and I’m delighted that we’ve managed to successfully secured the company’s future by winning these contracts in every region in England and Wales. Our success is built on the continuing high performance of our delivery teams and safe delivery of work on the Route Framework contracts, so this result is a credit to the hard work and dedication of our people.”
