Following the success of its culvert examinations team Network Rail Anglia has awarded CML its first contract to examine steel structures in the region.
CML’s experience in delivering numerous HCE (Hidden Critical Element) contracts elsewhere across Network Rail ensured its price and technical submissions were right on track. The work will take the CML team across forty two sites and will be completed within six months.
Each job will last up to three days and will involve exposing the steelwork on a variety of structures with CML STE2 examiners compiling a report for NWR, after which the structure will be reinstated.
CML has been working throughout the Anglia region, on contracts as far afield as Great Yarmouth and Central London.
