The CML team have received a ‘highly commended’ award at the 2018 Rail Partnership Awards. Managing Director Charles Mortimer and Operations Director Maurice Deans attended the event held in The Vox, at the Birmingham NEC on the 7th June.
We entered the ‘Preserving the history of the railway’ category, using the recently completed projects at Sleaford and Worksop Station. These were both challenging construction projects, with Grade II listed status driving our engineers to develop sympathetic repairs, implemented using innovative paint removal techniques to minimise disruption to passengers and the railway network.
‘Both projects have been a great success, delivered safely through meticulous planning, the application of appropriate construction techniques, and the commitment and drive demonstrated by the construction team. The whole delivery team should be very proud of their achievements’. Charles Mortimer, Managing Director.
