CML’s Lee Teasdale was lucky to come out unscathed after his Honda CBR1000rr crashed in wet and tricky conditions in the qualifying round of the championship at the Croft circuit in North Yorkshire. Lee was racing in the Open Unlimited class, which is the super bike class for the North East Motor Cycle Racing Club (NEMCRC). “This is the toughest race of the championship because you get a number of British superstock and TT riders entering,” says Lee.
After patching up the bike overnight Lee raced again, knocking three seconds off his personal best, finishing sixth overall. “The top five were all from big teams on new bikes so I was happy with my results. I’m very grateful to CML for its sponsorship as a 1000cc bike gets through a tyre a day.”
Lee is hoping to compete in seven race meetings this season in the North of England and Scotland.

Dinnington Under 15’s Rugby Union
CML’s support for Dinnington Under 15’s allowed them to raise money for their recent French tour. The sponsored kit is even passed down to the Under 10’s for the next generation so nothing gets wasted!
