Last week’s school engagement event was a huge success, working with Jemma Carmody from CECA, introducing primary school children to Civil Engineering and Construction roles, as well as getting some hands-on experience building cable-stayed Bridges and Tetrahedrons.
It was great to see children from such a young age getting involved and enjoying the whole experience. Some of their teamwork, problem solving and thinking skills were excellent. Thank you to Carlton Primary School for inviting us into their wonderful school and to https://www.ceca.co.uk/ for the opportunity for CML to partner with them on this project to promote our industry. There were definitely some future builders, supervisors and engineers in these groups!

A great display of team work by the students of Carlton Primary!

Well done all!

Looks like our young engineers used the adults to test their cable stayed bridge first!
